Celebrity spokespeople! Transgender activists Caitlyn Jenner and Chaz Bono spent some quality time with families at the meeting of Transforming Family at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. The event, which will be documented on the Aug. 16 episode of Jenner’s docuseries, I Am Cait, put Jenner, 65, and Bono, 46, together for the first time since they briefly met in 2011 (and since Jenner’s debut on the cover of Vanity Fair this summer).

The son of Cher and the late Sonny Bono has been volunteering with Transforming Family since 2009, and introduced the former Olympian to gender diverse teens and their families.

The pair attended a group session and talked to the families working through transitioning and gender identity issues. Bono began transitioning in 2008.
