It’s another world record for Caitlyn Jenner! The reality star, who was formerly known as Bruce, joined Twitter on Monday shortly after she debuted as a woman on the July 2015 cover of Vanity Fair. And just four hours after her first tweet, she had more than 1 million followers.
Another Jenner world record, and at 65? Who'da thought! Humbled & honored to have reached 1M followers in 4 hrs. Thank you for your support.

The former record holder was President Barack Obama, who gained 1 million followers in under five hours when he joined on May 18.
Jenner, 65, set a world record at the 1976 Summer Olympics, when she won the gold medal in the decathlon.
The athlete first revealed to the world that she’s been transitioning from male to female during a 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer that aired on April 24. “I am a woman,” Jenner said during the emotional sit-down.
So very glad @Caitlyn_Jenner is happy in her new life. And she can finally be herself, joyfully, out in the world.

Support for Jenner has been strong since her new look the Vanity Fair cover was released Monday, with stepdaughters Kim, Kourtney, and Khloe Kardashian, as well as youngest biological daughters Kendall and Kylie Jenner all applauding her. Even the former Twitter record holder himself, President Obama, gave her props, tweeting, “It takes courage to share your story.”
