Cue The Fray's "Look After You" hit! Candice Accola and Joe King stripped down and drank champagne (as newlyweds should!) during their Belize honeymoon last week. Already back in the States, the bride and groom have begun to share some of their very sexy snapshots from the tropical getaway.
"Let's go away for a while, you and I, to a strange and distant land, where they speak no word of truth but we don't understand anyway," King, 34, captioned a sexy pic of the couple on a boat, referencing a lyric from Weezer's 1994 "Holiday" tune. "And then she jumped off the boat with some island man," he captioned a second pic.
King also shared a snapshot of the Vampire Diaries actress, 27, looking out at the ocean. "This night was majestic," he gushed.
The lovebirds spent time alone at Cayo Espanto, a private island resort in Belize during the duration of their trip. "Honeymooners before take off…" Accola captioned a pic of King holding her in front of a helicopter. She later added a view of their destination while flying. "Twas a Honeymoon in paradise! @aprivateisland #rumfunsun #cayoespanto #unBelizeable."
Accola and King wed in a traditional "French Quarter Wedding" in New Orleans on Oct. 18. The couple — who began dating in 2012 — were feted by several of Accola's TVD costars, including Paul Wesley, Nina Dobrev, Michael Trevino, and Kat Graham.
