At the Oscars back in February, Charlize Theron joined host Seth MacFarlane for an opening-number routine — dancing elegantly with Channing Tatum. A month and a half later, Theron and MacFarlane hung out one-on-one in Beverly Hills — grabbing sushi at Matsuhisa.
The Oscar-winning actress, 37, and the Family Guy creator, 39, had a least one thing to discuss over dinner: A Million Ways to Die in the West, the new Western film in which they'll costar and begin shooting next month.
Their romantic status, so far, is to be determined. During an Oscars after party in Hollywood Feb. 24, the Prometheus star seemed "very flirty" with MacFarlane, who recently ended a casual relationship with Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke. Theron's last known serious relationship was with actor Stuart Townsend; she and her Head in the Clouds costar ended their nine-year romance back in 2010.
The main man in Theron's life right now: Adorable son Jackson, who celebrated his second birthday in Hollywood shortly before the Oscars.
"Charlize is the nicest person on earth," an insider told Us of the hands-on, South African beauty. "She's gorgeous and relaxed and sweet."
