Cher and More Celebrities Slam Donald Trump for Lewd Remarks: Women Are ‘Not Disposable Blow Up Dolls’

Celebrities were quick to share their anger on social media after a 2005 video of Donald Trump talking about hitting on a married woman and bragging about groping women was posted by The Washington Post on Friday, October 7.

“LADIES👑WE R NOT DISPOSABLE BLOW UP DOLLS,4RICH MENS PLEASURE.I HAD SCARY EXPERIENCE W/RICH IMPORTANT FILM PROD & I WAS CHER‼️ I WANTED JOB,” Cher wrote on Twitter.

Chelsea Handler was equally incensed. “Trump should be forced to have gender reassignment surgery, just for fun,” the comedian tweeted. “He can find out what it’s like to be on the other side of him.”

As previously reported by Us Weekly, the controversial Republican presidential candidate, 70, was caught on a hot mic talking to Billy Bush about trying to have sex with a married woman, who Access Hollywood later confirmed was former host Nancy O’Dell.

“I moved on her and I failed. I’ll admit it,” Trump can be heard saying in the audio, which was recorded on an Access Hollywood bus. “I did try and f–k her. She was married. … And I moved on her very heavily, in fact.”

Trump also said: “When you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything. … Grab them by the p—y. You can do anything.”

Trump has since attributed his comments to “locker room banter.”

Bush, 44, also made lewd comments while responding to Trump. The Today show correspondent has since issued an apology.

“Obviously, I’m embarrassed and ashamed. It’s no excuse, but this happened 11 years ago — I was younger, less mature and acted foolishly in playing along. I’m very sorry,” he told Us in a statement.
