Chrishell Stause and G Flip showed no public signs the pair were experiencing relationship woes mere weeks before the former Selling Sunset star announced their shocking split.
Stause, 45, took to Instagram on October 6 to upload a carousel of photos with G Flip, 33, including one image where the musician placed their hands around the reality TV star’s waist. In the pic, Stause looked back at G Flip as they appeared to be closing their eyes.
“The rest of my Australian camera roll!” Stause captioned her upload. Did you know cotton candy in AU looks like a rogue hair extension? I learn something new every time I go😆🙌.”
Weeks later, Stause shared that she and G Flip had gone their separate ways after four years together. The pair tied the knot in 2023.
“I have a pretty humbling update to share with you guys,” Stause said in an Instagram video on Monday, October 26. “G and I are no longer together, and we have agreed to treat this public separation with love and respect for each other. That’s not hard for me because I am in love with this person.”
Stause shared that she doesn’t “have all the information or the reasons” for their split yet.
“I’m sure, just like always, with time, you get the lessons you’re meant to get, and I know that will happen, and I’m gonna heal, and everything’s gonna be fine,” she said. “I’m definitely never doing this again, but I just felt like you guys deserved a little bit more than a cold written statement because you have been so supportive and so loving, and we really appreciate that.”
Stause, who was previously married to Justin Hartley from 2017 to 2019, shared that she feels “like a little bit of a failure” after her second broken marriage.
“There’s nothing you could say about me that would be worse than what I say to myself, so I just have to kind of heal and figure this out,” she said. “It’s hard. It’s painful. I’m a lover girl. I swing big. I miss, or maybe I don’t miss.”
Stause, however, reflected on how she had an “amazing over four years with G.”
“So maybe that’s not a miss, you know?” she said. “I mean, it’s just coming to terms with it being a different ending than you had imagined. So, with all that being said, I wanted to give you guys a life update. … I don’t know what I hope for myself. I just — it’s really hard and stressful to share this information because I’m kind of going through it.”
“I will always love G, and I don’t ever really see that changing,” she concluded. “And this sucks, but everyone deserves to be happy, and I wish that for both of us. So thank you.”
