Seriously, super! Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook‘s kids, Jack and Sailor Brinkley-Cook, have proved their prowess as supermodel siblings in the November 2015 issue of Town & Country.
The brother-sister duo, who pose in their very own spread dubbed “It’s All Relative,” stun and smolder in the all-American shoot. In keeping with the theme, Sailor, 17, and Jack, 20, wear preppy attire, including tailored shirts, blazers, brooches, and more.
They also discuss their rather atypical upbringings in the luxurious East Coast enclave of Bridgehampton, N.Y.
“It can be hard to be up-and-coming,” Sailor, a burgeoning model, told Town & Country. “And constantly compared to an icon.” As the look-alike daughter of of the world’s most famous supermodels, Sailor’s modeling ambitions have been closely followed by the public. Despite a paved road to probable success, Sailor told the mag that she’s still prioritizing appropriately. “Right now, I’m focusing on working hard in school and getting into college,” the teen dished.
The precocious and pretty blonde also revealed what it was like dealing with her parents’ very bitter and public divorce in 2008, after 10 years of marriage. “The best part of my childhood was how normal it was,” she reflected. “Given my circumstances.”
As some may recall, Brinkley ended the marriage after discovering that her architect husband had an affair with his 18-year-old assistant. Despite the tumultuous past, Sailor said she has a “balanced” life with both parents. “My dad understands reality, and my mom, fantasy,” she shared.
Meanwhile, her brother Jack has been trying to pave his own path in the acting world. “The most terrifying thing is the desire to establish a career as an actor,” he told T&C. “It’s an extremely competitive and challenging industry to conquer.”
However, he has his older half-sister, Alexa Ray Joel, to solicit for advice. “If I ever have anything I need to talk about or get over, Alexa is my go-to,” he shared of Christie’s eldest and only child with her second husband, singer Billy Joel.
