Fresh off the heels of her winning a James Beard Award and joining the judges’ panel on Fox’s hit MasterChef (Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET), Christina Tosi is at the top of her culinary game. When the Milk Bar Life cookbook author needs a cool treat, she turns to her blender. Tosi, 33, says she created versions of this “tasty, quick” mango juice recipe for specific times of day. And if you make the evening combo in the a.m.? “I won’t tell a soul!” she quips.
Mango Drinks
Morning
1 cup mango sorbet
1 cup plain yogurt
Afternoon
1 cup mango sorbet
1 1/2 cups club soda
1 lime, zested and juiced
1 tablespoon honey
Night
1 cup mango sorbet
1 cup club soda or tonic water
3 ounces vodka or gin
5 fresh mint or cilantro leaves
Combine the ingredients in a blender and mix for 1 minute, or until smooth. Serves 1.
