Dylan Sprouse and his pregnant wife, Barbara Palvin, brought a surprise plus-one to another Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
Sprouse, 33, and Palvin, 32, stepped out at the Friday, May 15, screening of Karma, twinning in black-and-white Karl Lagerfeld ensembles. While the actor opted for a classic black tux with a delicate diamond brooch pinned on his lapel, Palvin shined in a white button-down and a black maxi skirt that flowed into a lengthy train.
Hours earlier on Thursday, May 14, the couple attended the Cannes premiere of Histoires Parallèles, where they announced that they are expecting their first baby. Palvin looked radiant in a blue, feather-trimmed Miu Miu gown that highlighted her growing baby bump.
“So grateful to everyone for getting the three of us ready last night 🤍,” Palvin gushed via Instagram on Friday. “And special thanks to @miumiu.”
Palvin and Sprouse have been together since 2018, tying the knot five years later in 2023.
“All the people we love and care for were there,” the supermodel told Vogue of their intimate nuptials held in her native Hungary. “We all cried a little. The weather was perfect with a little cool breeze. It was a beautiful moment that we will never forget.”
Since then, Palvin and Sprouse’s relationship has only gotten stronger.

“In general, [marriage has] taught me a lot of patience and communication. Obviously that’s the cliché, is that people say communication is key, but it really is,” the actor exclusively told Us Weekly in August 2025. “It’s also just understanding you’re both human and you both do things. For most people’s lives, until they’re in a really serious relationship, they’re used to being in survival mode, which is, ‘How do I survive independently and live?’”
He added, “When you are in a committed relationship and you’re married, you have to rewire yourself to be like, ‘Oh, I’m fighting for two people. And everything I think of now is what we do together.”
The former Disney Channel child star and Palvin are also one another’s biggest fans, which for Sprouse means cheering on his wife on the catwalk and beyond.
“Barbara’s a remarkable dancer. She’s really good. Like, offensively good,” Sprouse quipped to Us in February 2025. “It makes it really hard to dance with her.”
At the time, Sprouse further revealed that he “always” knew he would marry Palvin after they met.
“When that’s in the future and it’s not already happened, you’re thinking about how you get there,” he explained. “So when you do get there, now the goalpost is in a completely different location, if you want a goalpost at all. There’s a new set of priorities that you’re confronted with. … But honestly, we’ve acted like a married couple since we started dating. So it hasn’t changed to the point where it’s pretty drastic.”
