Elon Musk’s estranged wife, Talulah Riley, talked about reconciling with her estranged husband during a recent interview with the Daily Mail just two weeks after the Tesla CEO spent the weekend with Amber Heard.
“I mean, never say never,” the actress, 30, said of getting back together with her estranged husband. “Marriage is a social construct, but I still believe in it. Elon and I are best friends. We still see each other all the time and take care of each other.”
Her comments come after Musk spent a weekend with Johnny Depp’s estranged wife, Amber Heard, in Miami last month. As previously reported by Us Weekly, the Danish Girl actress, 30, and billionaire, 45, stayed at the Delano South Beach from Friday, July 15, through Sunday, July 17.
According to an eyewitness, the two were seen exiting the same hotel room just minutes after each other.
“If this could continue indefinitely it would be lovely,” Riley said of her current relationship with Musk. “When you’ve been with someone for eight years on and off, you really learn how to love them. He and I are very good at loving each other.”
Riley and Musk first tied the knot in 2010. They divorced two years later only to remarry in July 2013. The actress, who has appeared in Inception and Pride & Prejudice, filed for divorce from the businessman for a second time this past March.
Heard is in the middle of her own messy divorce. The actress filed for divorce from Depp in May after just 15 months of marriage. Heard was granted a temporary restraining order from the Pirates of the Caribbean actor after she accused him of domestic abuse. Depp’s lawyer has since denied the allegations, and the actor and Heard have been battling each other in court over financial documents and confidentiality agreements.
