Public display of affection! Gucci Mane proposed to longtime girlfriend Keyshia Ka'oir on the Kiss Cam at the Atlanta Hawks basketball game Tuesday, November 22.
While the rapper, 36, didn’t get down on one knee, he surprised the Ka’oir Fitness and Ka’oir Cosmetics CEO with a giant diamond ring as the Kiss Cam was turned on their courtside seats. After she said yes, the newly engaged pair were greeted by cheers and the team’s mascot, Harry the Hawk, who gave Ka’oir a bouquet of roses.
“OMG!!! Babeeeeeeee thank u! I LOVE U !! Yessssssse,” the former music video model captioned an Instagram photo of her 25-karat stunner, seen below, that evening. Of the ring, Atlanta-based artist Mane, who also performed at halftime during the NBA matchup, wrote, “She deserve it!! #WOPSTERS luv u my baby" and later added, "She said yessssss!!!!!!!!!!! lucky me."
The next day, Ka'oir reflected on the surprise of a lifetime as she shared video of the cute Kiss Cam proposal on Instagram. “My Fiancé gave me hot flashes !” she admitted. “What a indescribable moment !!”
Singer Monica, who Mane referred to as “sis” on social media, congratulated the couple, writing, “I'm SOOOOOOO Happy for the both of you !!! #LoveAndBasketball #HeProposedAtTheHawksGame #GoodJobBro #PassMeATissue.”
Ka’oir and Mane met on the set of one of his 2010 music videos — he’d specifically requested the model turned entrepreneur after seeing her appear in XXL magazine — and they’ve been together ever since. She stuck by Mane's side as he served a two-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Following his May release, Mane, born Radric Davis, put out his eleventh album, Everybody Looking, on which he raps, “I gave my b***h two mil’ ’cause she stuck around.”
