Is Jenelle Evans as disappointed in herself as her fans are? The Teen Mom 2 star is back in jail after being arrested on Tuesday, Apr. 23 for heroin possession and alleged assault of her husband, Courtland Rogers.
The 21-year-old MTV star was taken into custody after police were called to her home in Brunswick, N.C. to investigate a reported domestic dispute between Evans and her 27-year-old husband of almost five months. According to TMZ, officials discovered 12 bindles of heroin and several other illegal substances and drug paraphernalia in Evans' possession. She was also charged with multiple counts of assault on Rogers, and was served with a warrant for failure to pay child support for her 3-year-old son Jace.
Roger was also arrested for assault and possession of heroin with the intent to manufacture, sell and distribute.
In her mugshot, the troubled star looks rather remorseful and sad. Her attorney, Dustin R.T. Sullivan told E! News, that she was "vert upset. She was crying in court . . . She was in bad shape."
The same day as her arrest, Evans had told her fans on Twitter that she was healthy and sober.
After an intense episode of Teen Mom 2 aired this week, in which Evans battles legal problems and parties with her now ex-boyfriend Kieffer Delp, a fan asked via twitter how the MTV star was doing. "I'm doing great," Evans responded Tuesday morning. "Eating healthy. My weight is back to normal. I take Multivitamins daily and melatonin at night and I'm SOBER!"
