Ain’t nobody got time for that! Jennifer Lawrence couldn’t keep a straight face when she was asked about her love life at the Thursday, April 28, premiere of her latest project, the IMAX film A Beautiful Planet, which she narrated.
In a clip from Extra’s on-camera interview, AJ Calloway asks the 25-year-old Hunger Games star about the latest developments in her romance dating life.
“What dating life?” Lawrence asked with a laugh.
“None?” Calloway pressed.
“No,” the actress confirmed.
“Are you kidding me?” the TV host asked. “Still?”
“No, I’m not, it’s really sad,” Lawrence said, bursting into giggles. “I haven’t felt the touch of a man in …”
Calloway then suggested that perhaps Lawrence’s next project should be finding herself a boyfriend.
Her reply?
“Oh, dear God.”
Lawrence was last linked to Coldplay singer Chris Martin, but the pair pulled the plug on their relationship last July.
She was also spotted with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Nicholas Hoult at this year’s Golden Globes. The couple, who met on the set of X-Men: First Class in 2011, split briefly in 2013 before giving their romance another go. They split for good in the summer of 2014.
In November, Lawrence opened up to Diane Sawyer about the tough time she went through following their very public breakup, which happened not long after she finished filming The Hunger Games series.
“These movies had been my life for so long and they had to come first in everything,” the Oscar winner told Sawyer. “I was also in a relationship with somebody for five years and that was my life. So my life was this person and these movies, and we broke up around the same time that I wrapped those movies. Being 24 was this whole year of, Who am I without these movies? Who am I without this man?”
