Uncle Evan is the best! Evan Ross taught Jessica Simpson's son Ace some of Michael Jackson's moves earlier this week. The 19-month-old tot mirrored the King of Pop's famous "Thriller" look with a red T-shirt and signature black fedora.
"The other day with the amazing baby Ace," Ross, 26, captioned the Instagram pic on Monday, Feb. 2. "Working on his Michael Jackson moves. Always the best of times with the family #EricJohnson @jessicasimpson and @tinersimpson."
Ashlee Simpson's husband knows a thing or two about Jackson's music. After all, his mother Diana Ross asked the late star to be his godfather back in 1988.
"The last year and the last months of his life — we were very close," Ross said of Jackson to Essence magazine in October 2010. "He was like a brother to me. For me, I think the best moments were when he would tell me stories about how my mom used to take him on trips and things like that. It was the only time he really had where he wasn't working on music. He would talk about these vacations and things he had with mom and how amazing they were."
"He felt she was like his second mom. He always felt like that — even in the later years," he added. "He was somebody who was so caring that he cared more about other people more than himself. I just feel like it's important for people to really know that."
While boogying with his nephew, Ross also watched the Super Bowl with 30-year-old Ashlee — who sported a royal blue wig! "#superbowl Sunday me and my love @ashleesimpsonross," he captioned a pic of the couple, who are expecting their first child together. "Love her."
