Let’s hope his bad luck in Sochi doesn’t continue! After getting trapped in his hotel bathroom on Feb. 7, USA Olympic bobsledder Johnny Quinn got stuck in an elevator on Monday, Feb. 10.

Quinn, 30, tweeted a photo of the incident, from which he eventually was able to safely escape. “No one is going to believe this but we just got stuck in an elevator,” he captioned a snapshot of himself trying to open the elevator doors. “Ask @BOBSLEDR and @Crippsee who were there . . .” he added of his teammates Nick Cunningham and David Cripps.

During an interview on Piers Morgan Live Feb. 10, the Texas native was asked if he’s usually so “accident prone.” “No, I think it’s just [an unfortunate] situation in both scenarios, now that everybody’s safe, and the door’s been fixed, the elevator’s been fixed, it’s kind of something funny to laugh about,” Quinn said. “In the meantime, my teammates are giving me a hard time . . . you can make sure that on race day I’ll make sure that I shower with the door open and probably take the stairs.”

Quinn first made headlines on Friday, Feb. 7 when he tweeted a photo of his damaged hotel bathroom door, which he punched a hole through to escape. “I was taking a shower and the door got locked/jammed,” he tweeted at the time. “With no phone to call for help, I used my bobsled push training to break out. #SochiJailBreak.”

Quinn told Us Weekly senior reporter Jennifer Peros that he wasn’t too freaked out while trapped in bathroom. “I was more frustrated than anything,” he explained of being stuck, naked, for about an hour. “I didn’t have my phone and didn’t even have a towel.”

While trying to make noise for people to hear to save him, Quinn hit the door and cracked it. “I rear back, go again and my fist goes through the door,” he recalled. “At that point I was like, ‘Hey, it’s time to get out of here’ . . . I had to make sure I had to create a big-enough hole to get through the door.”

When asked which top three celebrities Quinn would like to get trapped in a bathroom with, he sweetly told Us: “My lovely fiancee, that would be number one. That would be plenty for me . . . just hanging out with her.”
