Just a little more than three weeks after Us Weekly exclusively confirmed that Josh Brolin had checked into rehab in Northern California, the 45-year-old Gangster Squad actor was spotted out and about again in L.A.
Brolin looked healthy as he ran errands with an unidentified female friend on Tuesday, Dec. 17. He dressed down for the outing in dark jeans, a black polo shirt, and dark sunglasses.
A few days earlier, the Oscar nominee stepped out in London. While there, he hit up a performance of Tom Hiddleston's play Coriolanus at the Donmar Warehouse in the city's famed West End.
As previously reported, Brolin sought help for problems with substance abuse in late November. "He realized he needed help and is committed to his sobriety," an insider told Us Weekly at the time.
The rehab stay came on the heels of an incident in which the actor was caught on tape allegedly getting into a drunken fist fight with an unidentified male in Santa Monica, Calif. Two days after the supposed altercation, he told TMZ he was "completely done" with drinking.
He's also done with his marriage to actress Diane Lane. The former couple recently finalized their divorce after eight years together. "It was a mutual decision," an insider told Us of the split. "It is very amicable. It's not ugly, it's just over."
