The “Sorry” singer, 23, is supporting the 25-year-old “Wolves” crooner as she continues to battle her mental health issues. Although Gomez has been open and accepting of her circumstances, a source exclusively tells Us Weekly in the new issue that Bieber has been there for her every step of the way, especially by attending yoga and Pilates sessions with her “that help alleviate stress.”

Gomez is comfortable leaning on the “What Do You Mean” songster and they are committed to open communication. “They always want to be open books and keep things real and honest,” the source adds of the couple, who rekindled their romance in November 2017. “It’s helped reduce stress, and as a result, they’re in a much healthier spot.”

The 13 Reasons Why producer completed a rehabilitation program in January focused on mental wellness and empowerment, an experience that Bieber wholeheartedly approved of. “[He] knew about it and was supportive, but the trip had nothing to do with him,” a source told Us earlier this month. “It was all her decision. She feels great and is working on new music.”

Gomez spoke candidly about her ongoing struggle with anxiety and depression during a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar. “I’ve had a lot of issues with depression and anxiety, and I’ve been very vocal about it, but it’s not something I feel I’ll ever come,” Gomez told the magazine for their March 2018 cover story. “I think it’s a battle I’m gonna have to face for the rest of my life, and I’m OK with that because I know that I’m choosing myself over anything.”

The “Fetish” songstress had a kidney transplant in the summer of 2017 due to complications with lupus, an autoimmune disease she was diagnosed with in 2013. She checked into a Tennessee rehab facility in October 2016 to prioritize her mental health after canceling the remaining 24 dates of her Revival tour.

Gomez opened up about her stint in rehab while speaking to Vogue in March 2017, saying, “it was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it was the best thing I’ve done.”
