After his show in the plaza, Bieber chatted with veteran anchor Matt Lauer about his career. Alluding to his tearful VMAs performance, he said, “It just feels so great to feel the acceptance…I just feel judged and it’s hard, but I’m feeling more confident lately.”
Justin serenaded his friend and fellow performer Gomez to his hit “One Less Lonely Girl” during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve at Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.
He went on to address his past mistakes and run-ins with the law. “Life goes in places you never expected,” he explained. “I’m just a young man trying to figure it out like everyone else.”
