Stop messing with Us, Justin! Justin Bieber caused an online storm on Tuesday, Dec. 1, when he shared a throwback picture of himself and Selena Gomez hanging out together on the back of a quad bike.
Taken back when Bieber and Gomez were officially an item, the photo shows the "Same Old Love" singer, 23, with her hand on her then-boyfriend's knee as he sits behind her and snuggles into her back. The duo were on vacation together in Canada when the snap was taken.
Initially the 21-year-old crooner gave no caption to the photograph, which got fans and followers in a spin as they tried to figure out the relevance of the post. Was Bieber just reminiscing? Was it a sign he and Gomez were getting back together? What was it all about?!
"Just a throwback calm down," the "Sorry" singer later added as a caption to the snap, in an attempt to calm the storm his post had created.
But it's no wonder his fans go wild when Bieber posts cryptic photos — after all, both he and Gomez have admitted recently they’re open to the possibility of a reconciliation down the line.
“When you love someone that much, even if something comes between you, it’s a love that never really dies," Bieber told Billboard magazine last month.
