Kanye West gave Kim Kardashian a priceless 36th birthday present on Friday, October 21. The rapper compiled never-before-seen home video footage from when Kardashian was a little girl for a sweet five-minute clip in honor of her big day.
“Happy birthday babe,” he tweeted on Friday along with the clip.
In the video, the Selfish author is shown at various ages, goofing off with her famous siblings and late father, Robert Kardashian.
“She met a boy! She has a boyfriend!” her siblings tease her at one point in the video. The footage is marked from January 1987 and is from when Kim was telling her dad about tennis summer camp.
In one of the clips, the clan got a tiny white puppy for Christmas, and Kim couldn’t be more excited. “A real one! A real dog!” she can be heard exclaiming while petting the pooch.

The video ends with Kim telling her father she loves him before a title card reads: “I love you.”
The sweet gesture comes as Kim recuperates after being held at gunpoint in Paris and robbed of a reported $10 million in jewelry.
Kim's siblings Kourtney and Rob also tweeted about the video. "@kanyewest man my dad was the best ! Loved watching this 😍😍😍😇😇😇," the Arthur George sock designer tweeted at his brother-in-law, while Kourtney added: "❤️🌹🙏."
Rather than her usual big birthday blowout, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is having a low-key day, an insider tells Us. “There will most likely be some sort of small celebration at a family member’s house tonight,” another source added.
Earlier in the day, her sisters and mom, Kris Jenner, also wished her a happy birthday.
"I thank God every day he blessed me with you and I cherish every single moment and memory," Jenner wrote in a heartfelt Instagram post on Friday. "My heart is full of gratitude and I love you more than you will ever imagine or know… Mommy xo."
