You gotta start ‘em young! For his most recently released studio album, The Life of Pablo, Kanye West sought professional direction from his 2-year-old daughter, North, and 2-month-old son, Saint, who he enlisted as “creative consultants.”
The rapper, 38, uploaded a comprehensive list of credits to his website, KanyeWest.com, breaking down the LP, song by song. Artists like Rihanna, The-Dream, Chance The Rapper and André 3000 offered their talent, but West bills the adorable children he shares with his wife, Kim Kardashian, as top contributors.
While it’s still unclear exactly how the smallest members of the West family helped out with the new tunes, North gave her official seal of approval by shimmying along to her dad’s music at the Yeezy Season 3 unveiling on February 11.
West proudly admits that his kids have been a strong source of inspiration.
"Having a family, period, has made me completely rethink the way I rap,” he explained to Anna Wintour back in October. “I just love my family.”
Her has no love, however, for his nemesis Taylor Swift, who he called a “fake ass” in the leaked audio of an expletive-filled tantrum he threw backstage during rehearsals for Saturday Night Live.
The diss came just one day after Swift’s rep went on the record with Us Weekly to refute West’s claim that she helped think of the controversial lyrics in his song “Famous,” in which he raps: "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous."
