In perhaps the greatest Halloween trick of all, the typically public Kardashian-Jenner clan was eerily quiet on the holiday in which they typically steal the spotlight.
In years past fans have seen the whole family go all out, with Kim Kardashian often the focal point of the spooky celebrations. In years past, she's dressed as superheroines, villains, and princesses from Jasmine to Poison Ivy, and she's even coordinated with now-fiance Kanye West, 36, who went as the sailor to her mermaid in 2012.
But this year, Kardashian's only indication that she knew about the holiday was the single tweet, "Happy Halloween."
Kylie Jenner, 16, posted a Keek video with some friends hanging out at her house sans costumes. The one family member to publicly celebrate the masquerader's holiday? Model Kendall, 17, who posted a self in a cat costume, and followed it up with a picture of her new Great Dane puppy, Blue, wearing mouse ears.
Momager Kris Jenner's only mention of the holiday was to congratulate Honey Boo Boo and her family on their "fabulous" Kardashian-Jenner-inspired costumes. In one of this year's most memorable sendups, the TLC reality stars dressed up as the E! staples for fright night.
No word on whether the Kardashians were together for Halloween. The family's last sighting was on Oct. 29 when they were spotted celebrating Kendall's upcoming birthday at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, Calif. The reality-based family rented out the entire park for the festivities.
Their lack of Halloween spirit this year remains a mystery, but, never fear, the annual Christmas card is just around the corner!
