The end is near. Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom have reached a settlement and signed off on their divorce, a source confirms to Us Weekly.
The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 32, and the retired NBA player, 36, reached a property settlement and signed legal documents that were filed on Friday, October 21, as TMZ first reported.
"They're relieved it's over and ready to move on with their lives," the insider tells Us.
The divorce likely won't be officially finalized until December, as a judge cannot sign off under California state law until at least six months after the initial divorce filing. (Kardashian refiled in May.)
As Us Weekly previously reported, the former couple's separation has been a long process thus far. Kardashian first filed for divorce from Odom in December 2013, after four years of marriage. She then withdrew the papers to serve as Odom's caretaker after his near-fatal overdose at a Nevada brothel in October 2015.
In the months following, the former Los Angeles Lakers forward made a full recovery after being in a coma for weeks. He then rehabilitated at a rental home near Kardashian's mansion in Calabasas, California. In May, the Strong Looks Better Naked author (who is now dating Cleveland Cavaliers player Tristan Thompson) filed for divorce a second time.
Last week, Us Weekly exclusively reported that Odom "is the best he has been in many months" after a summer filled with smoking pot, drinking heavily and visiting strip clubs.
