Khloe Kardashian shared an update on her health on Saturday, Nov. 21, explaining to fans how she contracted a staph infection that forced her to cancel an appearance earlier this week.
"Staph infection is no joke," she tweeted. "Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo. I'm under great medical care&receiving tons of love!"
The reality star, 31, is believed to have come down with the infection during the more than three weeks she spent by Lamar Odom's hospital bed, taking care of her estranged husband after he was found unconscious at a Nevada brothel last month.

The Strong Looks Better Naked author canceled an appearance on her book tour on Wednesday, Nov. 18, tweeting that she needed "to lay low until we narrow down what's wrong," adding, "Stress can run our bodies down so please everyone take care of yourselves."
Kardashian admitted in a recent interview that Odom's collapse took a toll on her. (The 36-year-old remains hospitalized in L.A.)
"Just recently I've been in the hospital for almost three and a half weeks straight, and finally everyone was saying, 'Khloe, you have to get out of the hospital and just for an hour, go to the gym and do something that's for you. Nothing's going to happen to Lamar,'" she told the San Diego Union-Tribune. "I had such anxiety going to the gym, but as soon as I left, and Kendall and I worked out with my trainer, I felt like, 'Oh my god, I'm okay. I'm a human again!'"
Despite being laid up with the staph infection, Kardashian announced on her personal website on Friday, Nov. 20, that she's hosting a Thanksgiving dinner for her family in less than a week's time.
"Thanksgiving is at my house this year!!!" she wrote. "This is the second time I'm doing dinner in my home and I like that it's my tradition."
