After nearly seven years of wedded bliss, NFL couple Kyle Juszczyk and Kristin Juszczyk have learned a thing or two about marriage — and now they’re sharing their biggest lessons with soon-to-be newlyweds Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.
“Just honesty,” Kyle, 35, exclusively told Us Weekly while attending the Tight Ends and Friends concert presented by Reese’s and Sports Illustrated at Nashville’s The Pinnacle on Tuesday, June 23. “We always say honesty and good communication between one another.”
Kristin, 32, further noted that marriage should also have levity.
“I just think, like, everyone says that marriage is work, and for us … I kind of am like the opposite,” the Off Season designer told Us. “It should feel natural, and if it’s a lot of work, then maybe that’s not the right person for you.”
Kristin continued, “We have so much fun, and it just feels so natural to us. I think anyone who feels that way too will have a successful marriage.”
Kelce, 36, cohosts the annual Tight End University (TEU) alongside Kyle’s San Francisco 49ers teammate Greg Kittle and retired NFL star Greg Olsen. During the program’s concert on Tuesday, Swift, 36, took the stage to perform her hit “Love Story” with Lainey Wilson. While singing the lyrics “kneeled to the ground and pulled out a ring,” Swift flashed her engagement ring from Kelce.
Kelce popped the question to the 14-time Grammy winner in August 2025 after two years of dating. The couple are rumored to tie the knot this summer, though neither Swift nor Kelce have announced any wedding details.
As for Kyle and Kristin, they got married in 2019 after four years of dating.
“I feel like Kyle motivates me by example, and I feel like that’s how you are as a leader,” Kristin told Us of her spouse, the starting fullback for the Niners. “He never complains … but he always just wakes up with a smile on his face. So, like, he motivates me in that way.”
Kyle, for his part, is equally motivated by his wife.
“She motivates me [through] her relentlessness. She will stay up till 3:00 in the morning if she needs to if, like, there’s something that she knows she needs to get done,” the pro athlete gushed on Tuesday. “She really doesn’t stop until something is perfect in her eyes. I admire that about her.”
Kyle and Kristin took a break from their busy work commitments to attend TEU.
“It’s been so much fun to just see so many faces around the league. You see them during the games, and you see them with helmets on, but to be able to hang out with them is always so special,” Kyle told Us. “It kind of feels like we’re at the Pro Bowl … when you’re just surrounded by guys around the league that we all know each other, but we don’t know each other personally. This is cool to get to know guys personally.”
