Sushi after saga. Following his scandal involving transgender model Mia Isabella, a still coupled-up Tyga went to dinner with his girlfriend Kylie Jenner at sushi hot spot Nobu in L.A., on Sunday, July 12.
For the outing, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 17, who dealt with her own dose of drama this past weekend, ditched her controversial cornrows for a messy undo. Caitlyn Jenner's youngest daughter dressed in over-the-knee stiletto boots and a leopard coat, while her boyfriend sported jeans and a backwards hat.
The duo's low-key appearance together came several days after a series of nude texts from Tyga, which were allegedly sent to Isabella, were posted by B. Scott. The gossip blog also reported that Isabella was entwined in a relationship with the "Rack City" rapper for three years, a duration during which Tyga was involved with Blac Chyna, with whom he fathered one son, King.
Tyga's lawyer confirmed that the photos of the rapper were authentic, but insisted that Tyga, 25, did not send them to Isabella. "The allegations are false and socially irresponsible during a time when many Americans are celebrating equality," Tyga's lawyer Lee Hutton told TMZ, adding that the recipient of the original images was out to "maliciously shame" his client.
Tyga also chimed in on the scandal via Twitter. "My focus is always on the positive and building up those around me," he wrote after the controversy. "I'll never understand why people choose hate and negativity over anything else."
Meanwhile, Isabella spoke to Us Weekly about the fiasco. "I am sad that our beautiful community is still treated like second-rate individuals by some and used to create negative publicity, despite the recent progress in our beautiful country to accept the LGBT community as widely celebrated in a recent Supreme Court ruling, even an Irish vote in favor of LGBT rights. Aren’t all people equal? Isn’t love for all?" Isabella told Us last Thursday, July 9.
Amidst the scandal, Tyga's girlfriend engaged in a separate feud of her own this past weekend. Jenner was accused of misappropriating black features by Hunger Games star Amandla Stenberg after the reality star posted a selfie of herself in cornrows on Sunday, captioning it: "I woke up like disss."
Despite the eventful past week, Jenner seemed unfazed by it all early Monday, July 13, when she posted a bizarre Instagram video of herself sporting a pale blue wig. "Goodnight Gram," she wrote, alongside a clip of herself speaking gibberish.
