Young love! Lauren Conrad first met her husband, William Tell, when she was in high school. The fashion designer revealed their meet cute via a blog post on Tuesday, August 30.
While sharing 25 things that her fans don’t know about her (à la Us Weekly!) the Hills alum said: “I met my husband when I was 16 and sitting on stage at one of his concerts. Ten years later we were set up on a blind date.”
Conrad and Tell, who was in a band called Something Corporate from 2001 to 2004, met up for their first date on Valentine’s Day in 2012.
The Paper Crown designer, 30, and law school graduate, 36, got engaged in October 2013 after more than a year of dating. In September 2014, the couple exclusively confirmed to Us Weekly that they tied the knot in a gorgeous California coast wedding.

“What a perfect way to start our lives together, surrounded by the people we love most,” the newlyweds told Us in a statement at the time.
“It’s been wonderful so far,” the former reality star gushed to Us in May 2015 of their first year of marriage. “I think it’s really different for everybody. For us it makes you officially family, which is really great, but as far as our relationship, we were really committed before, so it didn’t change a ton.”
Fast-forward two years and things are still seemingly picture-perfect for the couple.
“So nice to have the day off to do a little exploring …” she wrote alongside a sweet selfie with Tell in March.
