She actually did it! Lindsay Lohan has officially completed her 125 hours of court-ordered community service. The troubled star confirmed the news herself with a celebratory message on Instagram on Wednesday, May 27.
“Hard work pays off. Thank you to all those that allowed me to volunteer while in NYC. God bless you all. Amen,” she wrote alongside a screen grab of a TMZ news article.
One week ago, Lohan proved she was busy at work, sharing a snap of a playground with the caption: “We built this for the kids today! So cute!!”
Lohan previously failed to complete her remaining hours — stemming from a 2012 reckless driving charge — because, her lawyer Shawn Holley argued in court earlier this month, that without a job, she was unable to afford necessary transportation needed to reach the service organization that was located too far from her home in London.
After getting an extension, the judge warned Holley that if LiLo didn’t complete the hours by May 28, “there will be consequences.” If approved by the court, Lohan’s probation will be lifted tomorrow.
