Until she ponies up some serious cash, Lindsay Lohan can no longer check in any time she likes to one especially famous "Hotel California."
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Lohan, 26, seriously overstayed her welcome at the swanky Chateau Marmont, located on Hollywood's Sunset Strip, where she resided for the months of June and July.
During her stay, Lohan racked up a bill totaling a staggering $46,350.04. In a letter dated July 31 to the Liz and Dick starlet, 26, hotel management informed her she would have to vacate her suite by 12:00 pm August 1. (At the time of the letter's writing, Lohan had yet to pay back any of the charges she had incurred).
"Until we get the matter of your outstanding debt paid, know that we will be unable to host you on property or in the restaurant," Philip Pavel, the General Manager, wrote.
Lohan's 15-page bill from the hotel outlines, in great detail, exactly how much she spent during her stay. Among the astonishing totals? $3,145.07 in minibar charges (she spent $502.43 on minibar items alone on July 1), $686 worth of cigarettes, a $100 Chateau candle, and a $1,992.07 July 4 charge at Chateau's posh restaurant.
Until the bill went public Wednesday, things were starting to look up for the troubled Canyons star. Though she was reportedly being considered a suspect in a jewelry theft at a Los Angeles home where she had stayed mid-August, the D.A. dropped the case against her earlier this week due to insufficient evidence.
Her pal Lady Gaga — with whom she enjoyed a late July Chateau sleepover — joked about the debacle on Twitter this week.
"Lindsay Lohan, ummmm are those my earrings??? This is awkward," Gaga wrote in response to a self-portrait Lohan had posted. "Kiss kiss chateau bunny."
