Welcome to Plathville star Lydia Plath forever hopes to remember her late unborn child after recently suffering a miscarriage.

“I wanted to make something to honor and remember our first child,” Lydia, 22, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, October 31, sharing footage of her craft process. “It was hard but really healing bringing this all together ❤️‍🩹.”

In her accompanying video, Lydia bought a glass frame from Hobby Lobby that she filled with handwritten letters, delicate beads, various stickers, knit baby booties and a wooden cross.

“You are my sunshine,” one page, decorated with sunflower stickers, read.

“Baby Bean, okay you’re 11 weeks and 4 days in your Momma’s belly,” Lydia wrote on an October 5 postcard addressed to her child. “You are the size of a lime. That’s about 1.6 inches long and 1.6 ounces for your weight. I’m so excited to meet you. We love you so much.”

Lydia also included the positive pregnancy test she had taken in the box, tearing up as she glued the stick to the background paper.

Lydia and her husband, Zac Wyse, announced earlier this month that she had experienced a pregnancy loss.

“There’s no words for the pain as we grieve the loss of our little angel. Our first child, our greatest love and a true miracle,” a joint Instagram post read. “We’re so grateful for the short time we had with our baby bean. You were so loved and celebrated every day we had with you! You were the talk and the joy of our lives with family, honorary aunts and uncles and friends. All so excited to love you and meet you but now you’re gone too soon.”

Days later, Lydia revealed she had the “hardest week” of her life while grieving the loss.

“I ended up in the hospital as I was having the miscarriage,” she wrote on October 15. “It was a really traumatic experience as I was hemorrhaging and bleeding to the point of passing out. I got an emergency D&C and a blood transfusion and I’m recovering well.”

She continued at the time, “But even through all of that, we saw the hand of God protecting us and caring for us in the pain. So many people have come together to care for us. It’s been beautiful to see just how loved this baby was.”

Lydia and Zac, 25, have been together since 2024, saying “I do” one year later in February 2025.
