She’s officially off the market! Peta Murgatroyd said “yes” when Maksim Chmerkovskiy got down on one knee and proposed to her on Saturday, Dec. 5, and her good pal Rumer Willis couldn’t wait to offer up her congratulations.
“My wifey is getting married!!!” the 27-year-old actress captioned an adorable selfie snapshot of the two of them, with Murgatroyd’s large ring prominent in the picture. “Love you @petamurgatroyd, so happy for you.”
Willis’ Season 20 Dancing With the Stars partner, Val Chmerkovskiy, offered his congratulations to the happy couple as well.
“I love the two of you with all my heart,” he captioned a reposted snapshot of Chmerkovskiy, 35, kneeling before a surprised Murgatroyd, 29. “You have my brother’s loyalty, heart, his one and only for the rest of his life. You’re family now and that makes you my sister, the second most important woman in my life. What’s mine is yours. Forever and always. Petachka your team got numbers now.”
On Saturday, Maks, 35 posted the touching photo on his own Instagram account, with the simple caption: “She said ‘yes.’”
“I’m in love with you and I want to be in love with you for the rest of my life,” he said, according to an eyewitness. “Will you marry me?”
The pair reunited earlier this year after splitting in 2013 after a 10-month romance.
“They’re fully back together,” a source told Us at the time.
Murgatroyd took to her own Instagram in the early hours of Sunday to share a sweet snapshot of the couple locking lips in a passionate kiss.
“I said yes!!!!!!” she captioned the photo. “You have my heart forever my love. Love always wins @maksimc.”
