You snooze, beauty addicts, you lose! Kim Kardashian’s makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, just launched his first eyeshadow palette with Anastasia Beverly Hills — and it’s already sold out.
The celebrity makeup artist, who also works with Kourtney Kardashian and Demi Lovato, teamed up with the brow-beautifying brand (lead by Anastasia Soare, Kim’s brow guru) for the Master Palette by Mario. It boasts 12 colors, including a peach shade named “Kim.” Fifty thousand units of the palette hit Anastasia’s website on Thursday, September 29, only to be gone within hours, as reported by Women’s Wear Daily.
But there is a silver lining! Though that first shipment came and went, the palette, which retails for $45, is now available online at Sephora, Ulta and Macy’s. It will arrive in stores on Saturday, October 15.
Unfortunately, while the palette has proven to be a huge success for Dedivanovic, it comes at the same time as his muse was attacked in Paris. He and Kim, 35, were set to give one of his master classes on makeup in Dubai on October 14, but after the Selfish author was robbed inside her private Parisian residence on October 3, the pair rescheduled.
Apologizing to all who planned to be in attendance, Dedivanovic wrote via Instagram on October 5, “On behalf of myself and Kim Kardashian West, please accept our apologies. We are sorry to inform you that due to the recent events, we will be rescheduling the Dubai Masterclass with Kim Kardashian West. We understand the inconvenience that this has caused you. You will have the option to cancel and receive a full refund, or we can hold the ticket for the rescheduled date. Rescheduling details will be sent out within the week.”
He added, “We deeply and sincerely apologize from the bottom of our hearts. We truly hope you all understand the decision we had to make and look forward to our upcoming class. We will update you via email and TheMasterClass.com. Sincerely, Mario.”
