Dislike! Some of Mark Zuckerberg's social media accounts were hacked over the weekend, the New York Times reports. And while his Facebook page was untouched, his go-to password is shockingly simple and easy-to-hack.
The Facebook CEO's Pinterest, Twitter and LinkedIn pages were all affected during the security breach. According to the NYT, the unidentified person notified Zuckerberg, 32, of the hack and was trying to make a fake profile for him.
"Hey @finkd (Zuckerberg's Twitter handle) we got access to your Twitter & Instagram & Pinterest, we are just testing your security, please dm (direct message) us," the hacker, OurMine, tweeted at Zuckerberg. The OurMine account has since been suspended.
A spokesperson for Facebook released a statement following the prank. "We were alerted of this takeover attempt and have taken action to remove the false profile on LinkedIn," the statement read. "No Facebook systems or accounts were accessed. The affected accounts have been re-secured using best practices."
Zuckerberg, who welcomed daughter Max last year, has yet to comment on the situation. He should, however, be thinking of a new password. It appears that he often used "dadada."
