At the tender age of 18, Megan Fox knew Brian Austin Green was The One.
"I was on a sitcom called Hope and Faith on ABC with Kelly Ripa and Faith Ford," Fox recently explained on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. "Brian was guest starring playing himself, but I was too young to have watched 90210, so I didn't know who he was. I just knew that he was gorgeous and I wanted to get to know him better."
Fox admitted she fell "instantly in love with him. Everyone was sort of gathered around the monitors watching playback from his scene, and he accidentally grazed my leg with his hand. I felt an electric shocks go through my body, so I figured that meant something."
The two dated on-and-off for the next several years, and in June 2010, when Fox was 24, the actors finally tied the knot during a private beach ceremony in Hawaii. "It was just us. I didn't want a big wedding," Fox later explained. "It was really romantic, I thought, and beautiful."
Fox, who co-parents Green's 9-year-old son Kassius (from his past relationship with actress Vanessa Marcil), told Cosmopolitan in April she's "always been maternal" and hopes to have "at least two, probably three" children with Green, 39.
The main reason she and Green have yet to conceive a child of their own, Fox told The Hollywood Reporter last year, is because they want to be financially stable. "I have it in my mind about what amount of money I want in the bank so that I can protect that child's future, and really protect it, so that kid never struggles," she explained. "Once I feel safe with that, then I'll have kids."
