Forget ballet — this babe is all about the bourbon! Oscar-nominated actress Mila Kunis was announced Wednesday, Jan. 29 as the new global partner and spokesperson of iconic American whiskey brand Jim Beam.
“Anyone would want to share a Jim Beam with Mila,” said the company’s senior vice president, Kevin George in a statement released Wednesday. “We love that about her, and couldn’t be happier to have her join the Jim Beam family,” he added.
Standing in front of Jim Beam’s distillery in Clermont, Ky., Ashton Kutcher’s love, 30, smolders in the first picture released from the new ad campaign: Kunis looks right at home wearing a purple and gray baseball top, black booties and distressed denim as she casually crosses her legs with her hands tucked into her pockets.
The whiskey company, which has been around since 1795, sought the Ukrainian-born beauty for several reasons, including her “love of bourbon,” “warm personality” and “global relevance.” As part of her preparation to front Jim Beam’s “Make History” campaign, the Black Swan star actually spent time in Kentucky with the company’s seventh generation distiller, Fred Noe, touring the town and distillery.
“As a fan of bourbon and a huge proponent of making history, I am thrilled to be the newest member of the Jim Beam family,” the Ted star added in the statement. Her commercials for the whiskey brand’s first global campaign will debut in February ahead of the July release of her anticipated sci-fi movie, Jupiter Ascending, starring Channing Tatum.
