The mom of two was asked by a viewer whether she'd been on a double date with the pair, and if she approved of brother-in-law Madden's new girl, to which she replied, "I approve of anything that's going to make Benji happy."

"I am a devoted sister-in-law," continued Richie, who is married to Benji's twin brother Joel Madden. "I'm happy for anyone who is happy, and I want everyone to be surrounded with love."

Continuing on the theme, show host Andy Cohen asked 32-year-old Richie if she was the one who had set the new couple up.

"Yes," she answered. "I'm going to take responsibility for everything!"

Us Weekly confirmed the start of Diaz, 41, and Benji, 35's romance in May, when sources revealed the pair had started "hanging out" after being introduced by mutual pal Richie.

"Nicole thought they'd click," the source told Us.

Two weeks ago, Good Charlotte rocker Benji admitted to Australian radio station Nova FM that he considered himself "lucky" to be dating the Sex Tape actress.
