Excuse me? Orange Is the New Black star Danielle Brooks wasn't amused recently when an airport employee was shocked that she had a first class ticket.
The Netflix star, 26, recalled the frustrating incident via Twitter on Thursday, June 30.
"I hate when gate agents look at me like I've never flown first class and say 'You're in first class, lucky you!' really tho," she tweeted, adding a disappointed emoji face.
Brooks is currently playing Sofia in the Broadway hit The Color Purple. Earlier this month, the actress attended the 70th Annual Tony Awards in NYC, where she was nominated (for the first time ever!) in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical category. She lost out to Hamilton star Renée Elise Goldsberry. (Hamilton won 11 awards out of 16 nominations.)
Other nominees in the category included She Loves Me star Jane Krakowski, Disaster! star Jennifer Simard, and Adrienne Warren for Shuffle Along, Or the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed.
Brooks has had a busy 2016. Earlier this year, the Georgia native was simultaneously working on The Color Purple while filming season 4 of OITNB, which premiered on June 17. Brooks has played Litchfield Penitentiary inmate Tasha "Taystee" Jefferson on the series since its 2013 debut.
Back in March, Brooks revealed which costar she would want by her side if she were actually put behind bars in real life. "I legit do not think I can handle prison. The more I watch reality shows … I do not think I am born for it," she told Us Weekly at the time. "But if I had to take someone with me? Oh man, it might be Lea DeLaria (Big Boo)."
