Oprah Celebrates 61st Birthday With Tributes, Wishes From Beyonce, Ellen DeGeneres

All hail the queen! Oprah Winfrey celebrated her 61st birthday on Thursday, Jan. 29, and was fêted by a bevy of big-name stars on social media. 

Beyonce took to Instagram to pay tribute to her friend. The "7/11" singer, 33, posted a black-and-white image of the famed media personality as a little girl. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY OPRAH" she wrote on the shot

Ellen DeGeneres chimed in on Twitter, writing, "Happy birthday, @Oprah! I hope your day is special. Actually, I bet most of your days are special. Have a regular day, but add confetti."

Rapper Charlamagne Tha God posted an Instagram photo of himself wearing a T-shirt with Oprah's face on it, captioning the image, "Happy Bornday to God's Only Begotten Daughter Oprah Winfrey……"

He was joined on Instagram by Oprah's longtime bestie Gayle King. The CBS personality shared a shot of an on-air birthday tribute to the O magazine founder, and wrote, "Happy happy birthday to my favorite best friend they remembered on world news now thanx @tjholmes @reenaninan for her shout out!"

Oprah, who stars in the Oscar-nominated Selma, seemed to be enjoying her special day. She shared an Instagram shot of herself holding baskets of produce and added a caption reading, "Harvest day birthday! Purple cauliflower.. Yellow peppers, fennel. Broccoli, turnip greens."
