Orlando Bloom has traded in his pirate's sword and elf's arrows for some fake, hardcore-looking tattoos. For his new movie Unlocked, the actor, 37, is sporting an entirely new look.
Bloom went shirtless on the set of the upcoming thriller, showing off a large, feathered tattoo in a bare-chested shoot. He also had another small tattoo by his naval, and various other bits of ink around his neck.
The hunk's toned stomach was on full display on Thursday, Nov. 20, as he wore an open jacket over a pair of low-slung pants with sneakers. He wore his dreamy brunette locks pulled back, and sported a sparkling stud in his earlobe.
Bloom has been shooting Unlocked in Prague under the direction of Michael Apted (Chasing Mavericks). The dramatic flick tells the tale of a CIA agent who accidentally aids a group of terrorists, who are planning to make a biological attack on the city of London.
The filming begins as Bloom has been weighing a possible return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The actor said in September that there have been "some discussions" about his inclusion in the forthcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, the fifth film in the Blockbuster franchise. Bloom's other recent projects include the latest Hobbit movies, 2013's The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and the upcoming The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, and a Shakespearean turn as the titular star-crossed lover in Romeo and Juliet on Broadway.
Also starring Michael Douglas and Noomi Rapace, Unlocked is currently without a release date.
