Is there anything Kim Kardashian can’t do? Her ex Pete Davidson doesn’t think so.
“Isn’t it crazy Kim’s good at acting?” Davidson, 32, asked guest Nikki Glaser during the Friday, May 29, episode of The Pete Davidson Show on Netflix. “I remember when we were dating, one day she was just like, ‘I think I’m gonna be an actress.’ And I was just like, ‘F*** yeah!’ And then [she’s] just good at it and I’m like, ‘Get the f*** out of here.’ She’s so good at acting.”
Kardashian made her major acting debut as ruthless Hollywood publicist Siobhan Corbyn on American Horror Story: Delicate in 2023. The role was widely well-received by fans and critics. However, she did not receive the same praise for her starring role as lawyer Allura Grant on Hulu’s All’s Fair last year, with many viewers describing her performance as “stiff.” (The show itself also received overwhelmingly negative reviews.)
Kardashian is now set to star in and produce the upcoming Netflix comedy film The Fifth Wheel.
During her conversation with Davidson, Glaser, 41, called Kardashian, 45, “so smart.”
“Anything she wants to do, she will do it, especially if people are like, ‘You can’t do this.’ And for her to go into acting with all the public perception of her anyway, she knew … everyone’s gonna look for her to fail,” Glaser continued. “Like, to do something [where] you know people are gonna try to find your weakness.”
Davidson then called his ex “superhuman,” adding that he “learned from her” that she could do whatever she put her mind to, despite what people say about her.
“Like, she don’t [sic] give a f***. It’s unbelievable,” he concluded.
Davidson and Kardashian dated from October 2021 to August 2022 following her divorce from Kanye West.
“There truly wasn’t drama between them when they decided to separate,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly when the pair split after nine months together. “It was something they talked through; it wasn’t a sudden breakup.”
The insider added, “They each have busy schedules and the distance made it hard. Kim travels a ton and it was hard for Pete to keep up, especially with his filming schedule. They had a lot of fun together, and they can look back with fond memories.”
Kardashian later reflected on her romance with Davidson during an October 2025 appearance on Alex Cooper’s “Call Her Daddy” podcast, sharing how her divorce from West, 48, affected her dating life. (In 2022, West released the music video for his song “Eazy,” which showed a claymation version of Davidson being kidnapped by the rapper and buried alive.)
“That made me feel really sad. That really wasn’t fair for him,” Kardashian said of the video. “And I felt so sad and sorry for him, and he was such a great man [who] was like, ‘I got this, don’t worry, it’s all good.’ Or at least acted that way.”
The Skims founder continued, “It just, it must suck to be put in that position. So it’s had me put up this guard where I don’t want to put anyone in that position. So it’s easier if I just, maybe, stay away. But I can’t live my life like that either.”
