Pregnant Jill Duggar: Chick-fil-A “Will Be in Heaven!”

All (cooked) chickens, according to Jill Duggar, go to heaven. The pregnant 19 Kids and Counting star took to her Instagram on Thursday, Feb. 5, to gush about her amazing day, which ended with a meal from her preferred fast food joint.

"I think Chick-fil-A WILL be in heaven!" Duggar wrote, alongside a photo with her husband Derick Dillard and her younger sister Joy. "Having a great time with Joy this evening…swimming, then food! Oh yeah! 😉 #chickfila #eatmorchikin."

(Chick-fil-A is owned and operated by the Cathy family, who like the Duggars are Southern Christians who share conservative values. Many fast food eaters, however, have opted to boycott the chain due to the family's stance on issues like gay marriage and more.)

During her pregnancy, Duggar has experienced an insatiable desire for savory snacks. In an interview with Us Weekly last fall, the TLC star revealed that she has been "craving mostly sour things, salty things, just anything."

Duggar added: "A lot of cold foods. Not really hot, warm meals — they don't settle so well because of the smells, I think."

Despite the junk food cravings, Duggar has been trying to maintain a healthy balance as she eats for two. "I have to do lots of fruits and vegetables," she told Us, "and I try to get protein in too, because I know that helps with nausea. I'm just trying to eat little bits here and there throughout the day."

As for her husband's role in picking up any unexpected snacks? "He is so good!" Duggar gushed about Dillard. "He makes sure he gives me snacks before I get out of bed — protein snacks or saltines just so I’ll have something in my tummy before I start moving around. Grabbing me water…so he is so sweet. He is amazing… Married life is the best!"

The couple — who married last July and famously shared their first kiss at the altar — announced their baby news last September. They are expecting the arrival of "Baby Dilly" this spring.
