The most stylish royal of them all! Prince George’s tiny personalized bathrobe, from online retailer My 1st Years, sold out within minutes after adorable photos of him meeting the Obamas surfaced online on Friday, April 22.
The soft terry-cotton robe retails for £27, or $39, and features “blue checkered trim,” “a cosy hood” and “waist tie securely stitched to the back of the garment,” according to the site.
George’s robe even featured his name monogrammed on the front. He completed the look with a blue-and-white button-down pajama set and navy slippers.
On Friday, Duchess Kate and Prince William’s dashing 2-year-old stayed up 15 minutes past his bedtime in order to meet President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama.
In images released by Kensington Palace, the future king looks very serious as he shakes President Obama’s hand, his rosy cheeks blushing.
“He was able to show the president and first lady a rocking horse, given to George when he was born, and a stuffed toy, given to him when [his sister] was born, by President and Mrs. Obama,” a Kensington Palace spokesman told Us Weekly.
The stuffed toy dog is a replica of the Obamas’ Portuguese water dog, Bo, who currently resides at the White House.
Prince George’s younger sister, 11-month-old Princess Charlotte, did not take part in the meet-and-greet.
