Is Hermione really dating Harry?
Rumors have been swirling that Emma Watson is dating fellow Brit Prince Harry — but is that really the case? Apparently not. Us Weekly can exclusively reveal that the pair are not an item.
"[It's] fake," a pal of the royal tells Us. "It's such a random story."
Indeed, earlier this week fans of the Harry Potter star, 24, found themselves in a tizzy when Australian magazine Woman's Day claimed that Watson and Prince Harry, 30, had been going on secret dates. The false information spiraled out of control, leading the hot topic to go viral on social media.
A Palace source adds: "I can see the Internet is going mad for this one."
Watson most recently broke up with her boyfriend Matthew Janney in December 2014 after nearly a year of dating. She was previously with her Brown University sweetheart Will Adamowicz from spring 2012 to summer 2013.
Back in December, Twitter users also went crazy when Watson posed for photographs at the British Fashion Awards with another Harry — One Direction's Harry Styles. "She has no plans to date Harry Styles," a source told Us at the time, "though he was nice at the awards."
The red-headed royal, meanwhile, was last linked to Cressida Bonas. The couple split in April 2014 after two years of dating, but were spotted getting cozy once more back in September.
Harry was recently skiing in Verbier, Switzerland, with friends and Princess Beatrice and Eugenie. He's now with pals in Stockholm, Sweden.
