The Quantico star, 34, who stunned in a red Jason Wu dress, presented the award for Outstanding Directing for a Limited Series, Movie or Dramatic Special with the Thor actor. When they walked on stage, Hiddleston, 35, spun her around to show off her gorgeous gown, and the internet went crazy over their magical onstage moment.

“I walked out with this big train and I did it for the first time ’cause it’s so pretty and I felt princessy, and after I twirled once I was doing it all night!” she told Fallon on The Tonight Show on Wednesday, September 21. “All of the photographers were like, ‘Can you twirl? Can you please twirl?’ And then even on stage, Tom [Hiddleston] made me twirl and I was always only twirling. I’m the twirling dancing emoji now.”

Hiddleston, who arrived solo to the awards show, exclusively told Us Weekly that his presenting duties alongside Chopra were the best part of the Emmys. “My favorite part of the night was presenting Susanne Bier with her directing award,” he said of his Night Manager director.

The event was the first official red carpet for the British hunk, who was nominated for his role in the AMC miniseries, since his high-profile split from Taylor Swift earlier this month.

As Us Weekly exclusively reported, the pair broke up after a whirlwind three months together that included several international vacations and meeting each other’s parents. “[Taylor] was the one to put the brakes on the relationship,” a source close to the couple told Us. “Tom wanted the relationship to be more public than she was comfortable with. Taylor knew the backlash that comes with public displays of affection, but Tom didn’t listen to her concerns when she brought them up.”
