Flashback to 2002!
On Wednesday’s all-new episode of ABC’s Revenge, fans will finally learn when Emily VanCamp‘s character, Amanda Clarke, began her plot to destroy the Grayson family.

In the preview clip above, Amanda — fresh from her stay in juvenile detention — hits up Jack Porter’s bar in an effort to convince bartender Kai to give Amanda her shift as a server at the Grayson family’s New Year’s Eve party. Putting her evil plan in motion, Amanda even offers the girl 25 percent of the night’s take for her trouble.
Later, Amanda is surprised by Nolan, whom fans recently learned was tasked with overseeing her wellbeing in the wake of her father’s death. That’s the moment when Amanda finally decides to stake out the Grayson home and exact revenge on those who framed her dad for a crime he didn’t commit.’
“Get lost, Nolan — I haven’t had a guardian in 10 years and I don’t need one now!” VanCamp’s character snipes, hinting that she’s made New Year’s Eve plans to “find out who my father was.”
