Robsten in the Big Apple! Kristen Stewart may have attended the 2013 Met Gala in New York City alone, but boyfriend Robert Pattinson wasn't far away. The couple was spotted leaving a hotel together and heading to JFK airport on Wednesday, May 8. See more photos of Kristen and Rob in NYC.
Wearing similar outfits of black jackets, gray shirts, jeans, baseball caps and dark shades, Stewart, 23, and Pattinson, 26, appeared to be in good spirits before catching their flight.
One reason for their good mood? PopSugar reported that the Twilight costars picked up some slices of pizza during their ride to the airport.
During their trip to NYC, the Snow White and the Huntsman actress attended the Costume Institute Gala without Pattinson on May 6. She arrived with Cameron Diaz and Stella McCartney as her dates instead, and wore a Bordeux silk jumpsuit with lace embroidery and, in a bit of a shocking twist, studded pumps.
Since the theme of this year's Met Ball was Punk: Chaos to Couture, some fans expected to see Stewart wear her signature Converse sneakers. "That's why I love her! Every time you think she's going to do something, she switches it up," her stylist, Tara Swennen, told Stylecaster on May 7. "It was more than punk glam."
"Off the red carpet, that girl is tried and true when it comes to her look. She loves being in T-shirts and jeans and Converse and she's been doing that since she was 14," Swennen explained. "I'm so happy she goes for it on the red carpet, but her true style on a day-to-day basis has stayed exactly the same and I love that about her. She doesn't feel the need to follow trends."
