Sarah Silverman Jokes She Announced Michael Sheen Split on His Birthday

Whoops! Sarah Silverman totally forgot that it was Michael Sheen’s birthday on Monday, February 5, which just so happened to be the day that she announced their split.

The comedian, 47, joked about the coincidence via Twitter on Tuesday. “The joke here is I just realized I posted our breakup tweet on his actual birthday and I can’t believe what a dick I am,” she wrote to her followers.

“Can u believe it?? He said I wasn’t THOUGHTFUL,” she added. “Jerk… Anyway, Happy Birthday, Michael…”

Silverman and Sheen, 49, dated for nearly four years. Us Weekly first confirmed in February 2014 that they were an item.

“Look, this is so awkward. Listen, I love his body, but I also love what’s on the inside,” Silverman said on The View that same month. “He speaks foreign, he’s foreign and on his show Masters of Sex he speaks perfect American. And I’m like, ‘If you can talk normal, why don’t you do that all the time?’”

Silverman previously dated Jimmy Kimmel for five years. Sheen was linked to Rachel McAdams and shares 19-year-old daughter Lily with ex Kate Beckinsale.
