Selena Gomez has a friend in Jennifer Aniston! The “Heart Wants What It Wants” singer mingled with the star during a party and viewing of Aniston’s film Cake in Hollywood on Friday, Dec. 6.
“I have not only been following her career as a fan since I was 8 and now get to watch her completely transform in her new movie CAKE, I have gotten to have real conversations with such a real heart, made my entire year. #cake #goseeit,” Gomez, 22, captioned a black-and-white Instagram photo of the two.
Aniston, 45, wrapped her right arm around the former Disney star at the bash and leaned in for the photo. Gomez, beside herself, smiled big with her eyes closed.
Back in April 2013, Gomez admitted she left a terrible impression the first time she met the Friends (Rachel Green!) alum. “I ran away from Jennifer Aniston when she said, ‘Hi,’ I was terrified of her,” she said during an interview with Radio Disney.
“I was scared, so I ran away and I’m really embarrassed about that,” she added. “I didn’t know what to do – it’s Rachel!”
