Sharna Burgess is setting the record straight about her wedding plans after a romantic trip to Ireland with Brian Austin Green.
“We’re over there. It’s my birthday and Father’s Day landed on the same day this year and it’s just dreamy,” Burgess, 41, shared on the Tuesday, July 28, episode of iHeartRadio’s “Whine Down” podcast. “The grounds look like something out of a fairy tale. I was like, ‘Baby, this is the best wedding location ever,’ and he said, ‘Yes it is.’”
While visiting the Adare Manor Hotel — and sprawling 840-acre estate located in County Limerick, Ireland — Burgess decided to post some highlights from the trip via Instagram, writing in the caption, “Wedding location found 🥰🤩.”
What came next were rumors that the former Dancing With the Stars pro was preparing to tie the knot overseas.
“If at some point we could swing that, then sure, let’s go get married at a damn manor,” Burgess joked to podcast host Jana Kramer. “[But] we haven’t booked a damn manor for our wedding. … Suddenly the whole internet thinks I booked a wedding.”
Burgess’ Instagram caption even caught the attention of some of her close family members, who asked if a destination wedding really is in the future.
“My auntie in Australia left me a voice note and she was like, ‘Sharna, it’s a bit far for all of us to travel,’” she recalled. “We have not yet booked a location for our wedding. We have so much going on.”
One big event on the calendar is Dancing With the Stars Con in Palm Springs, California. Beginning Friday, July 31, Burgess and other past and present cast members will head to the Acrisure Arena for three days of live shows and interactive events.
Before fans ask Burgess when she is getting married, the dancer maintains that a walk down the wedding aisle is not a “must” at the moment. Instead, she is enjoying raising her 4-year-old son Zane with Green, 53. (The actor also has four children from previous relationships.)
“It’s not that wildly important to me at this point,” Burgess said of a future wedding ceremony. “I want another baby. There’s so much going on in the next 18 months.”
If there was any doubt that Burgess was still madly in love with Green, just look at her recent birthday post for the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor.
In a heartfelt social media post, Burgess expressed just how much she enjoys experiencing life alongside her partner.
“Doing it with you makes the highs sweeter and the lows safer. I love you, we all do and we all deeply appreciate your constant drive to provide and show up and be all you feel we need,” she wrote via Instagram on July 16. “I can’t wait to watch what manifests and unfolds for you this year. You deserve it all ✨♥️.”
