Sharna Burgess

Sharna Burgess started ballet as a 5-year-old in Australia, and she was winning local and national titles within just a few years. She represented Australia at the World Championships and performed in the 2000 Summer Olympics Closing Ceremonies at just 15 years old.

Burgess moved to London at 18 where she worked some high-profile gigs around the U.K. and eventually appeared in international editions of So You Think You Can Dance in Belgium and the Netherlands. She eventually returned home for the Australian version of Dancing with the Stars.

She headed to Hollywood in 2011 to join the U.S. cast of DWTS. Burgess served as a troupe member in seasons 13 through 15 before becoming a full-fledged pro in 2013’s season 16.

The Aussie took second place in season 21 with Backstreet Boy Nick Carter, season 23 with race car driver James Hinchcliffe and season 26 football player Josh Norman. She finally took home the mirrorball trophy in season 27 with radio personality Bobby Bones. After winning first place in 2018, Burgess went back down under to judge Australian DWTS.

The choreographer dated dancer Paul Kirkland from 2010 to 2015. She was first linked to Brian Austin Green when they were spotted on vacation together in December 2020.

Burgess and Green competed together on Dancing With the Stars season 30 in 2021, but they were eliminated early on, finishing in 13th place.

The couple announced in February 2022 they were expecting their first child together. Son Zane Walker arrived the following June. Nearly one year later, Green proposed.
